The Challenge

Provide non-technical users with a simple way to deliver quotations by e-mail using a common and changing inventory of equipment.

The Proposal

Produce a on-line application, using database enabled forms, allowing users to select items from menus to submit their quotations.

The Development

The system was developed using Cold Fusion server-side code, in conjunction with a mySQL database. The forms allowed for real-time input of new inventory as new quotations were created, allowing for simple updates of the rotating stock, and easy access to popular items. The system e-mailed the quotation as a HTML page, with live links to their multi-page on-line quotation.
