The Challenge

Provide a simple but pleasing site which is in a class of its own amongst Bed & Breakfast Retreat sites. (A more humorous personal challenge was in preventing myself from always writing Bread & Breakfast.)

The Proposal

Create a peaceful and serene site for the visitor by eliminating any stress of the moment through relaxing background sounds and soft images.

The Development

A splash screen welcomes visitors to the site and also preloads the background sound for the home page of the site. By playing sounds of nature the site taps into the key relaxation sense, the sense of hearing. Using soft colors and a gentle background the site comes across soothing and relaxing. Of course the excellent service and hostess complements the sense of pleasure involved in a visit to this paradise at Stave Falls.
